Kaylins Memory

My daughter Kaylin Long passed away “supposedly” on Sunday October 7. My daughter  was born right sided CDH(Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia). She was in the hospital from the moment she came into the world to the moment she left this world. She spent the first 10 months of her in Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. On July 30th of this year she got discharged to Blythedale Children's Hospital where she stayed for a month. On August 30th they noticed she wasn’t doing well and transferred her back to the PICU this time in Westchester Medical Center. She was there since September 1st her official admission date. She was there up until her death she was due to be discharged back to Blythedale Children’s Hospital the day before her death. I never Initially received a phone call that my daughter was even sick or going through anything at all. Their claim was they had been trying to reach me all Sunday morning(oct 7) then said they had no working number for me. Mind you my emergency contact information is my cell and home not only that they had other family members numbers that they could’ve reached. I got contacted  through FACEBOOK from one of the nurses that had taken care of my daughter her first 10 months that the hospital came to her & told her they was trying to reach me. When I finally got in contact with them after seeing the message they said my that daughter wasn’t doing well & that her heart was failing that she wouldn’t make it through the night. Never once mentioned that my daughters kidneys failed, that she had blood coming out her nose, her  trachea, and blood in her urine. I dropped everything I was doing and got in touch with my sister who then came and got me.  I ran to my baby’s bedside when I got to my baby bed side I found her cold limp & dead. As more details arises I realized my daughter didn’t just die from heart failure. I need every ones help & support in any which way you can help I want to bring awareness & justice to not only my daughter but other kids who’ve died at the hands of negligence to make sure this doesn’t happen again. My daughter deserves a proper burial she got robbed & so did we of the opportunity to be by her side in them last moments that led to her death. This happened at a time that no one expected my daughter my daughters death hurt many people she wasn’t a 100% healthy but she was fine to say the least. When I last seen my daughter she was good things happened so suddenly. Please we need help with her funeral cost and also we are trying to get our own personal autopsy on our baby girl anything small or big would be appreciated so I can lay finally lay my baby to rest. She’s owed that we weren’t there for her last moments but we will forever fight for her. Thank you everyone for your time love and support ❤️
