We rescued Kaylee 3 years ago. She had a rough beginning and we have given her all the love, fun, and attention anyone can give a family member. She's a ball of joy and love.
Kaylee is 4 years old and the love of our life. She is our baby girl. She really is like our child.
She was having a great day with grandma the day of her accident. She escaped from my mother in law while she took the trash out and was hit by a UPS truck coming down the street. She is in bad shape, so far at minimum a broken back leg and possibly a torn artery. She's at the animal hospital and we are waiting for the test results. We got to see her and she was awake and alert thank goodness. But the extent of the injuries is unknown.
The current vet bill for the testing and stabilization is $4500. It will increase or possibly double depending on the surgery.
Please help if you can and share either way. She is our world, the light of our lives and deserves to have a long happy life. Thank you so much for any help you can provide. We love you all.
