Help Kaylee get her transplant

I have created this page to help Kaylee Sass and her family during an extremely difficult time. Kaylee's parents have been paying out of pocket to get Kaylee to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania from Kingman Arizona for ongoing doctor's appointments and treatment for a rare form of PRSS1 disorder. After many trips back and forth and meeting with many specialists the family was told they need to relocate across the United States to be next to the facility that can perform a life changing and life saving surgery for Kaylee. Kaylee needs an Autologous Islet Cell Transplantation with Total Pancreatectomy!!!! This is a procedure where they will completely remove the damaged pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, and have to reconfigure the intestines. They will save any healthy cells that they are able to from the pancreas and put them into the liver through a catheter basis. The liver will train the cells to work as both organs. This procedure has only been done at 4 facilities in the entire country. I have seen first hand how much time and care goes into Kaylee's hospital visits and how much of a toll it has taken on her parents, her siblings and most of all her sweet little self. I am hoping that people will find it in their hearts to lift some of this burden for this AMAZING family. Please share!
