Kay Ko Holmes

KayKo Holmes was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer on November 29, 2018. She had surgery which removed part of her colon. Since then, on December 31, 2018 she has been informed that the cancer is spreading and has spread to her liver. She has St. John charity care to help her out but the cancer centers affiliated with St. John will not accept the charity since they are “not technically St. John.”  She has been denied for Medicaid and no cancer center will see her without a $6000 deposit and $1000 due at every service. “I don’t know what to tell you” is all we have been hearing lately. She can’t get approved for any kind of insurance either due to her having a pre existing condition. One company even told her “your cancer is not life threatening so we’re not worried about it”. I know this is a shot in the dark but I want to try to reach this out to anyone that would be willing to help. KayKo has a husband, two children, and two grandchildren that need her healthy and alive. Anything helps and is very much appreciated.
