Hello. I am a friend of Machenzie's family. She has been in the hospital waiting on a heart since she was one month old. she will be 5 months old on the 24th of janurary.
I met this wonderful family while my daughter has been battling brain cancer, and has got to know them very well. They have been living at the local ronald mcdonald house going on 3 months now.
they found out while being there that there heat at home has broken and they need to come up with $4k dollars to be able to have it fixed and ready for when they finally get a heart for baby girl and they can take her home. They also have no ac except window units.
There car is on fritz, they have trouble with it daily. They have a very tight budget due to both parents having to stay at the ronald mcdonald house because they have a son who is 7 who had to be enrolled in the local school system.
They have no extra money for food, clothes, or anything for themselves. They have limited funds coming in and they cant get disablilty for Machenzie because she is in the hospitals care.
Her heart condition is called dialated cardiomyopathy. Shes been in the hospital since sept 24 and has been waiting on the transplant list since nov 14.
This family is very caring and all i want to do is to be able to help them out. they were there for my family and we got to go home and back to our normal life, they are still at the hospital with no end in sight, so i want to help them anyway i can.
