Katie Rough Memorial Fundraiser, 12 inch Haircut #teamrough forever.
I am sure that most of you by now will have heard of the tragic death of my beautiful niece Katie Rough, the 7yr old from York who was taken from her family and friends far too soon.
A family fundraiser will take place on the 18th February at Gateway Church York, to help raise funds for a memorial and to give to local childrens charities, York Mind and The Island.
To help raise funds for this my 13yr old daughter Amy is going to have at least 12 inches of her hair cut off at the fundraiser event. Any money raised from this will go towards the memorial fund and her hair will be sent to The Little Princess Trust who make free wigs for little girls and boys who have lost their hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
The day will also consist of stalls, candy floss, bouncy castle, reptile and animal photographs, disco and special guest Tom Bleasby from the xfactor plus much more. Please see Katie Rough Memorial Family Fun-draiser for more information.
Katie's family will never forget her beautiful smile and cheeky giggles but they would also like her name to be forever remembered.
