School Transportation

Early Saturday morning someone tried to steal fuel from our small yellow bus. In the process of taking the fuel this person ignited a fire. The result of the fire is our White Rams bus, the small yellow bus and the large yellow bus are a total loss. We are praising God that the main building and surrounding outbuildings were untouched, thanks to the quick response of the Fire Department, Wasilla Police Department and Alaska State Troopers. We are fairly certain the person who did this was burned in the process. If you see or hear anything regarding the fire and the person responsible please alert WPD. As a result of the fire, WLCS no longer has vehicles to transport our athletes in the upcoming sports seasons. We have a very short window of time and very limited amount of resources to secure at least 1 vehicle. If anyone is able to assist with information regarding the person responsible, information regarding a new vehicle, or donations towards a new vehicle, please let us know.  We do have insurance but our buses were old and we don't believe will get what we need to replace them, as well as in the time frame we need transportation.
