Dear LACD members and supporters,
As we approach the holidays, I would like to announce to you the launching of a fundraising project to help the orphans of "karyet Maryam lilatfal" in Ghosta, Lebanon. This orphanage is yet another charitable mission of the highly regarded Father Majdi Allawi. The orphanage currently accommodates 43 children, ages ranging from 3 to 12, living in one house. As all Father Allawi's projects operating under سعادة السماء or bonheur du Ciel association, this orphanage relies on the generosity of donors in Lebanon and abroad. Thank you in advance for contributing!
بمناسبة حلول الأعياد المجيدة، يناشد المجلس اللبناني الأميركي للديمقراطيّة جميع الأعضاء الكرام للمشاركة بحملة تبرّع من اجل مساعدة يتامى "قرية مريم للأطفال" في غوسطا- لبنان ، التابعة لجمعيّات "سعادة السماء". هذه الجمعيّات ثابرت على العمل الخيري لسنين طويلة، برعاية الأب مجدي العلّاوي، و تقوم بتقديم خدمات معيشيّة و إجتماعيّة مجّاناً للفقراء و الأيتام و تعتمد كلّيا على التبرّعات من لبنان و الخارج. "قرية مريم للأطفال" تأوي حاليّاً ٤٣ يتيماً تتراوح أعمارهم بين ال٣ و ال١٢ سنة في بيت واحد
