On the evening of Saturday, October 6, 2018 Karla was tragically killed while riding an ATV near her home. Karla leaves behind her husband, Tony and 7 children, Taryn (17), Mataya (16), Khloe (9), Andrew (8), Isabella (6), Anthony (4) and Austyn (3).
Karla, age 37, graduated from Pierz High School, class of 2000. Tony and Karla married on June 7, 2008, recently celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary. Karla was an amazing woman, raising her children, running the family household, helping run the family farm, and assisting with Tony's trucking business. She was nothing short of amazing, always putting others before herself. She was an extraordinary cook and baker and provided a helping hand to anyone in need. She also volunteered at the family church and taught first communion classes.
The family is now faced with filling the void she leaves behind. She was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend to many and will be dearly missed. All funds raised will be used for funeral expenses and other expenses for the family. Thank you.
