Kandrac & Kole Goes to Guatemala

We are two interior designers from Atlanta, GA who leave our luxury design business for a week every year to lead a group of men, women and teens to partner with our dear friends Paula and Fontaine Greene at Catalyst Resources International and help the poorest of the poor in Guatemala. This will be our 6th year lending our whole hearts and hands to improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. We know the power of a home - we live it and breath it everyday. No matter the size of the home or the materials it is made out of - every human deserves the safety, security and warmth of a comfortable home built from love.
This year, we will working in the village of Santa Maria de Jesus where we will be building a small two bedroom home from scratch as well as providing a proper stove, furniture and a water filtration system for a family that has probably never had four safe walls to call home. This is what the funds you kindly donate will go towards. We will be working in Guatemala June 9-16, 2018.
This year we are doing something new and having a shoe drive for the village. We will bring with us (in many, many suitcase) shoes of all types and sizes for the women, men and children of the village. Imagine walking wherever you need to go (because of course you don't have a car or even a bicycle), on a dirt and stone road or path (of course not properly paved) and not having shoes!
Our trip would not be complete without spending quality time at House of Hope orphanage run by our friends Diane and Justin Herman. We will spend time loving on the orphans, giving them special attention and bringing toys and supplies.
