This past year my family has been in a fight that we never saw coming. A year ago my mom was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiform, an inopperable and very agressive brain cancer. When the doctors found out they didn't think my mom would live very long... It's caused her to lose function on the left side of her body. She isn't able to use her left arm or leg and hasn't walked in months. BUT she's still going strong a year later!
She's been through radiation treatment, a chemo that she had to stop taking because her body rejected it, and now she's started a new chemo and has to travel back and forth from our home, in Louisiana, to MD Anderson, a few times a month. My sister takes care of her full time and SO MANY people have gone above and beyond to help my mom during this rough time!!!
Mom has battled and fought everyday because God has blessed her with the strength and energy to make it! We serve a God that has our best interest in mind and as we believe in faith that Gods word means what it says, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
Matthew 7:11. My mom WILL LIVE, she WILL BE HEALED and TO GOD BE GIVEN ALL THE GLORY BECAUSE OF IT!!! Get ready kids.... you're about to see what your Heavenly Father can do!!!!!
If you feel lead to give towards mom's medical care that would be awesome! She doesn't know I'm doing this because she always says her expenses are her responsibility and no one elses. But I know that there are people who want to give just to bless her and lift some of the burden of medical bills, travel and expenses that come with this kind of diagnosis. So I went ahead and made a way for that to happen.
ABOVE ALL ELSE we need your PRAYERS! "God is making a way, where there seems to be no way!" She says that all the time!
