House/school for 6 Afghan Refugees

Hello people, I am an Afghan war refugee.
In Afghanistan I worked with American forces for a year.
I got in trouble with the Taliban, who wanted me to join them and commit violent acts against American and Afghan armies. I didn't want to join the Taliban, so they made death threats against me. I feared that my job would bring danger to my family.
I left my country, my wife and lovely children. I never thought that one day I would leave them alone.
I left home in May 2012. My journey led me to cross roads, oceans, mountains and borders, for days and months. I saw so many difficulties that I have never seen in my life.
After 6 months of travelling, I arrived in Belgium. I asked for asylum, so that I could stay safe in Belgium. Finally, the government recognised that I couldn't go back to this dangerous zone in Afghanistan that was once my home. The Belgian government gave me an identity card for two years, and after a long wait, the government gave visas for my 4 children and my wife. Now, my family can have a fresh start in Belgium.
But this is where the real challenges begin. My biggest problem is that I cannot find a place to rent on such a low income, or a school place for my children. I am working hard to give my family a fresh start - I am taking French courses, searching for jobs and an apartment, and trying to find a place in school for my children. But I don’t yet speak French and Dutch well and am finding it hard to get a job.
Suddenly there are too many new costs: housing for my family and the many things my kids need in their new country. In addition, I had to pay the Belgian government 1200 euro for DNA tests to prove I am the father of my kids, and pay for their plane tickets to come to Belgium.
I am sorry to ask for help like this, but if you want to help my family please support me with information, advice or by contributing to our costs. There are many ways you could help us:
1. Please let us know if you have a space to rent (for a reasonable cost) where we could live, or if you know of an affordable apartment. You can contact me any time at [email redacted]
2. Please share this plea to others who could help – we don’t have contacts here and need information on schools, apartments, language classes etc
3. If you are able to contribute financially that would be a big help. I will use that to pay for apartment rent, school materials for my children, and language classes. Important :
1) If you live outside the USA - that is in Europe etc - for the donate form to work : please do not forget to also fill in the “Province” box with the province were you live ;)
