Kamell Allaway was an incredibly passionate and loving man. He was so many things to so many people. He was an entrepreneur, an outdoorsman, an adventurist, a husband, a father, and so much more. He had an ambition that was unparalleled, running two businesses in two different states while raising a family that he fought for everyday. He had a wild side, living life to the fullest throughout his adventures in the outdoors. More than anything else, he cared for so many people. He was a selfless man who found so much joy in giving. He was a mentor to countless people, including myself, his son.
My father unfortunately passed away on October 16 while doing what he loved, hunting in Colorado. Our family has not only been put in a state of shock, but we've also been confronted by costly charges for funeral bills, as well as charges for our dream memorial service for my father. In lieu of flowers, we'd greatly appreciate any donations to alleviate the financial weight put upon my family at this time of mourning. Anything helps.
All donations will contribute to:
- Funeral home services in Colorado
- Transportation from Colorado to California
- Funeral home services in California
- Costs for a private family funeral
- Costs for cremation to fulfill our wishes of taking him to his favorite place in Alaska.
- Costs of burial at sea.
- Costs of a memorial stone for where he passed in Colorado.
- Memorial service costs (audio/visual equipment, poster printing, decorations, and more). Our dream is to host the memorial on the fishing docks of San Diego, where he's been fishing out of for the past 40 years. In the spirit of my fathers ambition, our goals for his memorial are equally ambitious.
The memorial for Kamell Allaway will be held on Sunday November 6th and we'd like to throw one hell of a party. Our goal for funds are high, but as I previously mentioned, anything will mean the world to our family.
It's not just the donation, but also the support that would warm our hearts. We loved Kamell dearly and he will be greatly missed by many. Please help us remember him in the way he deserved to be remembered.
As the son of Kamell Allaway, I'm forever grateful.
