Please Help In Our Time Of Need!!!

My wife and myself have been reluctant to set up an account because we are the type of folks that want to earn our money and feel there are people out there that deserve it more than us, but a lot of folks have been saying we should so we decided to cave and go ahead and do it.
Our financial situation has gotten pretty crummy the last month or so, before our son was born we both were working just to live paycheck to paycheck we had our struggles, but were making it through, but as of late its been bad.
Our son, Kaleb, was born in september a week early due to a scan showing concerns with his head size and kidney location. After he was born we found out he had cleft pallet on the roof of his mouth and was also born with two thumbs on his right hand. We had no idea about those issues before he was born and due to him having those they did a scan on him and found that besides those defects, he also was born with his heart located on the right side instead of the left, thankfully everything is functioning properly with his heart. he does have two small pinholes in the upper and lower chambers of his heart, but doctors are confident they will close up on their own and we will know for sure when they do another heart scan in the following months. Due to him having so many different things going on, three days after his birth he was Transported to Childrens Mercy. They were going to due some more scans on his heart and his kidney that is located down lower then where it is supposed to be as well as a brain scan to check on his enlarged ventricals and also they wanted to do a genetics blood draw to see if he had some kind of syndrom. Every scan they did seem to come back with positive results and we were hopeful to go home with our baby boy very shortly.
Unfortunately, while we were there, he started having stat drops with his heart and oxygen very frequently and pretty severly. he had to be put on oxygen twice and also had spells as they call them where the heart rate and oxygen drop so low and he cant come out of it on his own and had to be stimulated to breathe and come back from them. He has now been in there a month with these continuous spells and has recently had a sleep study done on him which revealed he has severe obstructional sleep apnea which in part has to due with the fact he was born with a very small chin (possibly due to a syndrom with everything else he has going on) which causes his tounge to block his air way to where he can not breathe. Talk of a mandibular distraction (jaw surgery) which consists of them cutting an opening by the bottom jaw breaking it, putting in pins between the two bones and twisting the pins around three times a day to push the jaw forward for about two to three weeks. Once the jaw is pushed forward and set, they will take the pins out which takes about two months to have it completely set. Hopefully with a successful surgery he will be able to breathe safely and be able to come home.
Due to all of these complications and bouncing back from a C-section, my wife has not been able to go back to work. It is more important to me and my son's for my wife to be able to be there for our two year old and try and be down at the hospital as much as possible. Although, because we don't have the extra income we normally would depend on, our everyday bills are adding up quickly and we are fighting to get by. Just as I stated before, we are not the type of people to ask for help, but I am putting my pride aside and giving this a shot for my family's sake. If you by chance do make a donation, I just want to say from the bottom of mine and my wife's heart we deeply thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read about our situation and about our specialy made beautiful boy.
