Funeral Preparations...
Thank you to everyone who has supported Kalani and her family throughout this heartbreaking trial. Unfortunately, Kalani passed away on January 3, 2019. She fought a hard battle, yet she kept her spirit through its entirety. She was a warrior, from start to finish.
Right now, her family is just trying to deal with their tremendous loss. As parents — surely you can understand — no one sets funds aside for burying their kids. Parents plan on watching their children grow into great people, helping the world become better... ...
Burying them is typically not in the agenda or budget...
Nevertheless, funeral arrangements are in works. As you're aware, it can be costly. While the Baisden family is mourning their loss, we're asking that — if at all possible — you financially help them with anything you can.
If you've already contributed, thank you so very much, and it means the world to Kalani's family.
Truly, she brought the world around her so much joy — with a smile that could heal any troubled soul.

Round 2. She beat it once, she can beat it again!
Cancer will NOT win!

Kalani is a 4-year-old warrior! Unfortunately, she's been diagnosed with an extremely rare illness, Adrenocortial Carcinoma.
Kalani's parents remain confident that God will see them through this process. However, they're asking for a village to help their daughter wage war on cancer!
Challenges:
Kalani's parents are currently undergoing financial hardship, after her mom was forced to take a leave of absence from work. Her father works as much over time as possible in order to provide. Yet, with all of Kalani's expenses, it places them -- as well as their 4-year-old warrior -- in a tough spot.
If that wasn't enough misfortune, their landlord contacted them today, February 21, to inform them that they have to move due to property renovations. Literally, the timing couldn't be worse.
Plans:
As we're sure you're aware, cancer is ridiculously expensive to treat.
HOWEVER! We're praying that everyone... ...anyone... will find it in their hearts to give Kalani a fighting chance. She's a brave little girl who deserves to live!
Her life has just begun...
