Wookie's Wobbly

Hi everyone! My name is Cookie, and I am a 2 1/2 year old male Brussells mix. I am very shy but very spirited and after a rough upbringing I am finally with my forever family. When I was born my owner did not want me, and gave me away after I was a month old. I was passed around a lot and ended up with a VERY big fur family. Unfortunately my new owner, who had the best of intentions, could not take care of me; her home was full of stray dogs she had adopted and found on the street and I was unable to get the attention I needed. Luckily I was passed on one final time, to my mom! After a LOT of work, time and love my I am not shy around my family anymore and I love to play with my sister mocha, the chihuahua. I was healthy, I got my first ever haircut!.... Anda medial issue with my knees (luxating patella) was being managed.

On January 9th, 2015 I rolled off of the couch and landed very hard. My left knee has popped completely out of place and my doctor is estimating my right knee at a 4/4 on a need for surgery. They have estimated high at $3000.00 for the total cost of the surgery and Care Credit is not an option.

I am asking anyone and everyone to please donate $5 to help pay for this surgery, I really need the help! But! While I know not everyone can donate, your support still means a lot. If we can spread the word and reach just 3000 people - I get to have my surgery and go back to playing with my sister! If you can please share this, I promise that if by some miracle we make this happen, that any amount of money raised beyond what we need will go out to help other dogs in need!
