BBSP Flood Damage repairs-Dec 2015
Structures inside Beavers Bend State Park have suffered extensive damages due to the recent emergency opening of the Spillway Flood Gates in December 2015.
Friends of Beavers Bend is a non-profit group that assists Beavers Bend State Park in making purchases that otherwise cannot be purchased by the State of Oklahoma or Beavers Bend.
Equipment and machinery needed to clean up the flood damages and restore Beavers Bend State Park back to normal operation can be made with funds donated to the Friends of Beavers Bend.
There are many roadways, bridges, water lines, and camp grounds that have to be repaired as well as a massive amount of debris clean up before Beavers Bend State Park can safely reopen.
Clean up will begin immediately after the lake levels have decreased to safe levels and flood gates are again closed.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
