Motorcycle accident

We are staring this ‘GoFundMe’ in honor of our friend John Loper. For those of you who do not know, John was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident 8 weeks ago involving a deer. John was taken to Stony Brook-Southampton Hospital and was treated for injuries to his ribs, clavicle and right ankle. He has gone through multiple surgeries to stabilize and repair his shattered ankle and the surrounding tissue. John spent over 3 weeks in the hospital with multiple sessions in the hyperbaric chamber to increase the oxygen saturation in the blood to help promote healing and fight infection. Thankfully John has been released from the hospital and is on the mend but has a long road ahead of him.
As most of you know, John is a well known and well loved fixture in our community.
John is a self employed contractor. Due to the accident and resulting injuries, he has been unable to return to work. As a result, his expenses are accruing… John has remained very positive and strong throughout all of this and asks you to assist in any way you can….
There will also be a fundraiser at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, NY on September 15th. Door open 5pm.

Cost: Donation of $10 or more.
