Lil' Somethin

For 5 years I used the money raised here to make care packages for the homeless population in Chicago. I was featured on CBS 2 news & the show Windy City Live to talk about my cause. Unfortunately donations & volunteers began to decrease more & more over time. Eventually it became too much for me to do on my own.

However, 2 years later I have felt compelled to bring it back with a focus on the migrant population. With the city not providing much support in my area beyond tents outside of police stations, I wanted to do more.

While I can no longer walk around pulling a wagon (I gave them away to migrants I saw panhandling with their kids). I can at least drive to locations where they are being housed & provide essentials.

Especially with winter approaching & most of them likely never experiencing weather this cold!

I am also accepting donated items, but only certain things. Unfortunately in the past donations consisted of items that essentially were just things people were finding while doing spring cleaning, that honestly belonged in the garbage.

NEW clothing & winter items & snacks, toiletries, bottled water, socks, hot hands are a top priority. With many of these camps having hundreds of people, the donations would need to be in large quantities so that there is enough for everyone.
