Daniel Payne's Legacy

Donation protected
On 22 October 2015, the world lost one of the best people it has ever seen. Daniel Payne, a 24 year old medical student, tragically died in a motorcyle accident - he was riding carefully, speed was not a factor. A freak storm came through and there was nothing that he could have done differently.

Not only was he the funniest and most intelligent person we have ever known, he was also the kindest. It is for this reason that was have set up this page in his name, because his whole life was devoted to making a difference, particularly to refugees and the marginalised in society. He worked tirelessly to bring about change and make the world a better place, volunteering with various advocacy groups in Canberra and the Gold Coast.

The money raised will go toward Hope4Health, a charity created and run by Griffith University medical students, which aims to eliminate health inequalities, particularly for refugees and the vulnerable.

By donating, you can make a positive impact on the world and continue his legacy of kindness and compassion.

He truly believed one person could make a difference.

He has.
