Aegon's Charities For 2017

Donation protected

Last year John Moos walked the John Muir way (all 215km of it) and raised over £3,000 for Aegon's nominated charities.

We felt this year some of the rest of us should join John in his fundraising efforts, so we've recruited a high calibre crack team to attempt the three peaks challenge to raise funds for Aegon's nominated charities. Paul Johnston (not pictured) is our official guide.
From left to right the crack team are: John Wright, Alick Lothian, Colin Caddell, Tommy Fallon, John Moos, Gordon Pearse, Coleen Semple

What's the three peaks challenge I hear you ask?

https://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/national-three-peaks-challenge/

We're going to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England & Wales all within 24 hours.   We're starting with Ben Nevis at 5pm on Friday 23rd June, then driving to Yorkshire to climb Scafell Pike, then on to Wales to climb Snowdon where we'll hopefully finish before 5pm on the Saturday.  And it's not all just paths, there is actually a knife edge ridge on Snowdon...google it...

That's over 10,000ft of climbing in 24 hours, which is going to be tough, but we're doing it to raise money for Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie & Gorgie City Farm.  As these are Aegon's nominated charities for 2017, Aegon will match every pound we raise.

This will absolutely be a challenge for everyone involved so it would be fantastic if you could help us raise as much as we can for the Aegon 2017 charities.
Thank you.
