Birthday wish to play in WCOOP main

I recently made a post on Facebook about playing in the World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) on my birthday Sunday September 27th...I was jokingly asking if anyone wanted to put up money to let me play in the WCOOP main event, which is a $5,200 US online poker tourney on Pokerstars.  This tourney brings out all the best and most successful online poker players in the world...In 2014 total of 2,142 entered the event, building a prize pool of $10,710,000 that and originally scheduled a $1,820,700 reward to first place...eventually the final 6 players made a deal for the remaining money and first got just over $1,000,000 US.

Anyway, I asked if anyone of my wealthy friends wanted to give me money to play and was actually surprised by the response...I had many people comment and message me asking how much i needed...a few even offering to invest in me. A friend said I should actually try and raise the money.  I hesitated...I am a recreational player, not a professional.

I have won online and live...not huge, but I have won. My biggest online win is $8,000 in an $11 tourney and have several $1,000 - $3,000 wins from similar small buy-in tourneys.  I've won about $75,000 online and also have about $65,000 in live tourney earnings.  I have made many deep online and live tourney runs and come VERY close to competing for the HUGE final table money....the cards just didn't fall kindly.

I play seriously when I can, which is not often due to my busy dj life, businesses, and of course family.  That said, I am always learning and getting better...I've been lucky enough to forge friendships with some of the world's most successful players who have won more than $8,000,000 and they offer advice and insight into my game, which has made a huge difference.

Anyway, my birthday is Sunday September 27th and this year I am taking that Sunday off from one of my dj gigs to play this last day of WCOOP. This year I am playing a $215 event with a $1,000,000 guarenteed prize pool and will also be playing many smaller events...I have always done well on this day when I have played...must be birthday luck lol.  I have also wanted to play in the WCOOP main event but won't invest the full $5,200 US in this so a friend said 'RAISE THE MONEY'. You have people willing to invest and I bet more would too.

So long story short, if you want to invest in me to play in the $5,200 US WCOOP main event this is your chance...I need at least $6500 CDN to play as the most I would put up would be $1000.  Obviously, you don't need to make a big investment, but putting it out there legitimately to see what can happen.  Wouldn't have done this if several friends didn't 'keep pushing me' to do so.

A min cash in this event will be about $12,000 so more than doubling the buy-in.  With more than $10,000,000 being generated in the prize pool there is lots of money to be made if I outlast 85 - 90 % of the field.  So, if you want to make your fav dj happy here is your chance lol.
