Police brutality plagues the United States and can affect all of us. This is based on facts; please view the video above to learn more.

Justice Trail Campaign

- Starting September 20, 2015, Justice Trail’s Prohaize will run and bike over 750 miles from Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta, GA to the Statue of Liberty, New York, NY.
- With your support, we will raise over $15,000 in donations to support efforts to create more transparency in the American justice system
- We will bring increased attention to the effectiveness of police body cameras with over 100,000 people. Read more about police body cameras by clicking: Research  and policy recommendation
- Proceeds raised will be evenly distributed between 3 organizations who actively help prevent police brutality and create sustainable, long-term solutions in communities: Campaign Zero, It’s Bigger Than You & The Run for Justice
- A documentary-style video of the entire run from Atlanta, GA to New York, NY will be available for supporters to view after the completion of the run
- Along the run, Prohaize will visit Emanuel AME in Charlston, SC and participate in the Million Man March (Justice or Else!) in Washington, D.C. on October 10, 2015
-In order to advance the dialogue on solving police brutality issues in America, excess funds raised will go towards covering out-of-pocket expenses from the run and marketing the docu-style video

"Peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." - Martin Luther King

Our fight for justice continues! We have an important update on www.JusticeTrail.org. We are excited to announce that visitors can now see if body cameras have been mandated for police officers in their state by clicking on the interactive map on the Updates page. If they have not yet been mandated, there is an email template and direct contacts that can be used to voice your support for body cameras to your state representatives. Additionally, the documentary about our journey from Atlanta to New York City is now in postproduction. We are looking forward to sharing more updates with you soon!

On September 20, 2015, Edward “Prohaize” Minta began running and cycling from the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA to Liberty Island in New York City, on a mission to increase awareness for solutions that create greater transparency and accountability between police officers and civilians through the implementation of body cameras. Justice Trail is in full force! We have successfully journeyed through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington DC, and we just entered Maryland today. The experiences and people we have met so far are truly unforgettable. We have had the opportunity to share the Justice Trail campaign with an array of different people; local residents, farmers, store clerks, construction workers, even police officers and many more! Our mission resonates with every person we come across because justice and transparency are fundamental needs. Our message is also spreading in viral fashion. Prohaize has begun interviewing with publications interested in knowing why he is willing to sacrifice so much for the Justice Trail cause. We cannot wait to share these articles and future updates with you all. Thank you for your continued support. Please help us spread the word!

It is one thing to ask for justice, it is another to petition for equality. But to fight, bleed and sweat for what you believe in is power enough to change circumstances in the world.
