Justice For Baloo

Donation protected
‌On December 11th, 2016 after a pleasant sunday evening. The family decided to go back home to watch movies spending the rest of the day with laughs and cheerful vibes. Soon all would be destroyed when the family heard our dog baloo bark followed by 2 gun shots and multiple flashlights pointed in the backyard. At this point we thought there was an intruder and we were going to be victim to an armed robbery. We quickly called 911 and just to find out that the cops were already there. Confused we ran downstairs just to be detained by officers telling us to go back in the house with their guns pointed at us. They kept saying that they'll address us afterwards. The entire time we waited we were unsure of what was going on. When they finally came and spoke to us we found out that a police officer shot and killed our dog. Baloo was a member of the family whom we had since a puppy. Born on March 4th, 2012. He was four years old.. A police officer was dispatched to our premises for reasons unknown. When he arrived he didn't make his presence known. Unlawfully on our property he decides to go examine our backyard. Without a warrant or asking us for permission he goes to our gated fenced off backyard. Upon doing so he runs into our beloved family animal. A family member rushed downstairs to go and quickly apprehend baloo because of the gun shots. Just to find out that the police officer shot and killed him. The cops not once showed remorse and wouldn't even answer the questions we asked. Baloo was a beautiful american akita that not only protected our yard but the yards of other neighbors. The shooting of our dog was completely unjust and violated our constitutional rights. It caused emotional distress to the family members present when this occured. Baloo was our protector and apart of our family. I am writing this with a heavy heart to bring awareness. He was murdered wrongfully and we are not stopping until justice is served. The police officer never rang our doorbell once!! Never asked to put him up which we would of. He was such a loving dog and never brought harm to anyone. He will be greatly missed. I am asking for donations to be made so we can take the Los Angeles Police Department to court. For illegal search and seizure, violation of constitutional rights and emotional distress. Thank you in advance to those who are sympathetic and want to help.
As seen in my video above of our beloved Baloo playing with our other pup, he was nothing but a big sweet loveable baby, our baby. They unjustly took a valuable member of our family & now we are seeking #JusticeForBaloo. Anything helps, even just reposting this to spread awareness. Thank you to those that donate.
