Justice for Scott

My son Scott is a victim of a hit and run. He was walking to school when a vehicle crushed him on his right side, sending him flying onto the pavement. That car left him there to die, bleeding from head wounds. He waved at someone to stop, anyone, but no one did. He crawled to the curb and called 911 when he realized he was bleeding terribly all over. Scott was transported by ambulance to the ER. They stapled him back together, and now is using crutches to get to doctors appts due to the injuries on his right leg. This isn’t going to be a fast fix for him. We still don’t know the full extent of his injuries because he has a congenital heart defect problem that wasn’t checked, and we even went back to the ER. Still waiting to see the cardiologist. Our medical bills are overwhelming right now. I’m a single mom, with a 9 yr old at home as well. We also have to move in 3 weeks due to an incredible increase in our rent. $1,600 for a tiny 2 bedroom upstairs apt is too much for me. I’ve had to take a leave from work to take care of my son, and we’ve been financially sunk. I need a house where my son doesn’t have stairs to struggle with. Please help with any amount of you can. I’ve never had to do one of these before, even when my daughter had cancer @3yrs of age.
