There is nothing that will prepare you for the loss of a loved one & certainly nothing that prepares you for when that loved one's life is stolen from them in a violent & hateful act of violence. Those of us who knew Kadeem Smith know that this is not the way to go for someone with such a good heart & kind soul.

Someone shot & killed him after work on March 19th after he arrived home from work while his mother, younger brother & closest cousin were inside the house. They saw something that no family should ever have to witness and now that family has been left to live with the consequences of someone else's evil, life altering actions. 

Those who knew Kadeem knew that he loved the military.... in the JROTC at Flannigan Senior High School before joining the Army right out of school. You'd be hardpressed to find a manager who did not speak highly of his work method. 

We hope you will consider making a donation to help pay for funeral expenses related to his sudden passing. Funeral arrangements are now being made and will be passed along as soon as they are confirmed.
