Justice for Ashanti

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am so delighted to again announce that the "Justice for Ashanti" fundraising campaign has met and exceeded its goal.   We are not asking at this time for any additional donations to this campaign.  Thank you to each and everyone of you who gave and those who did not have to give.  While this is tragic, there is a bitter sweet in knowing that we will lift up "Ashanti and Friends" in a powerful Celebration of Life Service in May.  None of this could have been possible without your assistance through countless of donations.  Also, a special thank you to the Dignity of Washington organization for your substantial donation which allowed us to ear mark funds to the Empowering the Transgender Community LBGTQ Burial Funds.  ETC is a 501 (c)3 non-profit which I am the Executive Director of here in the District of Columbia.  We expect to assist as we have done in the past with request for flowers, towards a service or repass once our board have voted on how much to provide.  To Mrs. Deborah Carmon and family we say that the LBGTQ community mourns with you this senseless and tragic loss. Just as a reminder as this Gofundme account will be closed soon the arrangements are:
