JUMP for JOHN

The legacy of John Ciaran Byrne Johnboy as he was always known. The Father, Son, Brother, Comedian, Friend, Adventurer, Music man and Man of the people.

Johns lived life to the maximum, which inspired many and ended too soon is what has inspired us to continue to LIVE THE LEGACY – to live to our maximums and do everything we can to raise awareness of, support and fund direct research for Epilepsy, the condition that took “The Legend” from the world far too soon.

Our project “Jump for John” is about living life to your full, how you can conquer and overcome fear when surrounded and supported by others . Among other fundraising activities that will work into this event. The main fundraiser is a sponsored Skydive…… A SKYDIVE Like no other – This will be done on April Fools day to celebrate our Joker. It will consist of More than 30 people jumping out of planes across the globe. We have jumpers in Ireland, UK, NZ and AUS so far.

*why a skydive you ask? – because he’ll be watching and laughing at us all and LOVING IT….. ☺  this legend even convinced his mum to jump from a plane with him for his 30th birthday * and posted on FB

Epilepsy Ireland strives to improve the health and quality of life for people with epilepsy, and we rely on voluntary contributions to fund much of our work. There are approximately 130 deaths a year in Ireland as a result of Epilepsy.

Make-A-Wish Ireland has one simple aim – they grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since 1992, Make-A-Wish Ireland has granted wishes for more than 2,000 brave children across Ireland.
