I brought my son a dog for his 5 th bday in December. He’s 10 months and is a Siberian husky. His name is Aspen . He is a playful puppy who would never harm a fly. He does not even bark at strangers.When ever someone meets him they fall in love because he’s so cuddly n just loves to be loved and will love you back. Last night he got out of my front door due to my mom trying to walk him but she has some troubles medically and could not keep up with him. I searched the apartment complex. neighborhood for him by car. As i was searching by foot i heard a gun shot. Then another gun shot followed and i heard my fur baby scream. I ran so fast but couldn’t find him i walked back to my car and pulled up to front and saw a nice couple who stopped because aspen couldn’t move and was bleeding severely. They gave me their dog seat cover n helped me get him into my car. Thankfully it’s only his leg but he’s so undeserving of this cruelty . Animal control or even the cops should have been called . He has to have an emergency amputation due to bullets fragments being inside and his leg is shattered. He will have 3 legs but that will just make him even more special to love . Iam so disappointed but asking for help for his medical cost he’s at the peninsula emergency vet clinic in Yorktown va in case you would like to confirm before donation I’m grateful for anything to help my fur baby ASpen
