Stuck in Reality

Stuck in Reality is an independently produced sitcom web series following the life of Malachi, the winner of a Reality TV Show, and his new life as a D-List celebrity. Malachi was supposed to be on top of the world. After becoming the latest winner of the long running reality TV competition, Withstander, Malachi moves to L. A. with dreams of opening up his own restaurant, using his D-list celebrity status and his newly acquired prize money to aid in this venture. However, trouble comes in the form of a charismatic terror named Viola, the beautiful, but ultimately unstable runner-up of his season, as she comes to him with a surprisingly legitimate claim to half of his winnings. Viola is prepared to do everything in her power to make him pay up what she thinks he owes her, creating a PR nightmare and making Malachi question his own morality in dealing with the delusional temptress.

On top of that, Malachi deals with family members trying to push their way into his newly found spotlight, trying to adapt to the new attention from both fans and haters alike, and dealing with a particularly nasty ex-cast mate named Seth who rather than help Malachi in his downward trajectory, decides to sit back with a bucket of popcorn and watch the spectacle. With reporters all too eager to take the side of the gorgeous brunette, and Viola flirting and seducing his best friend, Malachi hires a publicist to try and help him navigate the new obstacles that Viola throws in front of him. Malachi thought Withstander was hard, but the islands prove to be nothing compared to the chaotic life he’s found for himself in L.A.

Any money raised will be used to further grow our project. It will pay for filming locations, equipment, soundtrack selections, anything and everything to ensure a polished final product.
We're hoping the first season reaches about ten episodes, one of which has already been filmed and produced. Budget per episode will varry drastically depending on filming locations needed, and each budget will be outlined via future updates.
