Help lay Amanda to rest

Donation protected
She was born on November 30, 1989 from Petty Harbor, Newfoundland. A sweet little girl with a bright and illuminating smile, that she later gave to her two little boys James and Josh. She had a quiet dignity yet an infectionate personality that instantly won you over with her wit, charm and Newfoundland accent. A loving daughter and only child of her beautiful mother Rhonda and loving father Jake, Amanda was an incredible daughter, a wonderful friend and a terrific mom to her two boys, whom she lived for and were her world.  Amanda was a sweet beautiful young woman with many aspirations and talents ahead of her and always believed family came first. After enduring years of domestic abuse from tumultuous relationships, Amanda wanted what was best for her sons, and refused to any longer be a battered woman. She made the brave decision to leave her abusive relationship, return to the loving arms of her mother and father while waiting to move into her new apartment, and courageously start her new life with her little boys, that she had arranged. Just as Amanda Ellen Best-Parell reached for the stars out past anyone or anything that tried to hold her down, and stretched out her hands to all her hopes and dreams that patiently and anxiously awaited her.....Amanda tragically and very unexpectedly took her last breath in her sleep on August 29, 2019, just 3 months shy of her 30th birthday.

Amanda was my 2nd cousin, her mother Rhonda Marie Best is my 1st cousin and I love them both very much.

It is my hope to raise as much monies as I can to help out Rhonda whom is a very loving and selfless mother, who always puts everyone before herself, who is now, with her partner Jake, grieving the loss of her only child.  Not only does she somehow have to pick up the shattered pieces of herself, but she also has to fill the shadow of where her daughter used to be, for her grandsons that are without their mother.  Funeral costs are unexpected and are not readily available, and when gut-wrenching devastation occurs that rips your world apart it's a hefty price to pay to try to put it back together.

Now is the time to be the change you want to see. Now is the time to show the love that this world needs more of. Now is the time to open your heart and find your humanity and make a difference. So any donation, any amount that you can give to help my dear sweet cousin in her time of ultimate need and distress would be appreciated more than words can say, and will be counted as a blessing upon you.

The fundamental truth of life is not living for ourselves....but rather living for each other.
