Bijou was taken to Providence Children's Hospital on December 7th for emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. She then spent two weeks recovering, dosed with antibiotics, pain medicine and liquid IV nutrition. She was released on the 22nd after all her labs came back normal and her CT scan showed great improvement. After 5 days at home she was readmitted to Providence Children's Hospital with a high fever.  She is thankfully on the mend but with a hospital stay approaching a month the bills are racking up.  Her mom, Gail, has of course been by her side the entire time, unable to work and their insurance is pending.  Let's help reduce this family's financial stress during this already increadibly stressful time for them.
