Keep our Joyous Choir going!

Who we are:  Maryhill Integration Network's Joyous Choir consists of women from many different backgrounds who come together every week to share songs from their own cultures. Using singing to support social inclusion and celebrate diversity, the group showcases the cultural richness of Glasgow.
Choir members enjoy singing powerful inspiring songs; songs of solidarity, friendship, freedom, journeys and dreams. 

How your money will help: Current funding for the choir has come to an end and the group are seeking further funding to help them to continue rehearsing and also performing at community events across the city. Your money will help with choir leader fees, travel expenses for members on zero to low incomes and basic refreshments for the group during rehearsals.



The choir means so much to all the participants as it brings happiness to individuals that have experienced great pain and loss in their lives. The choir is more than just a singing group, it is like a family to the members, who see each other as sisters.
