Journey to Dubai

The Central School - Dubai (UAE) is predominantly Arab & Indian students ranging from children 2 years through 18 years of age, whilst being open to all demographics of people. As the city of Dubai continues to expand, the demand for the Western Creative Arts is continually increasing to accomodate the influx of foreigners/expatriates in keeping up with the current Trends of Pop Culture. The school has recognized how influential/effective the art form of Dance can be in cultivating Health, Wellness, Growth and Development within the Youth. Which is why the school has requested my services. Dance Education is vital to guiding the Next-Generation. By providing programs that not only educate people on the Dance itself; but the Knowledge of its History, Culture, Music, Terminology (Language) & Heritage are essential for the art form to continue its progress. "Dancing in all it's forms cannot be excluded from the Curriculum of All Noble Education; Dancing with the Feet, with Ideas, with Words, and, need I add that one must also be able to Dance with the Pen?" - Friedrich Nietzsche


I am working to raise $1,700 USD to purchase my Work Permit/Visa. Which upon proof of Receipt the total amount of expenses will be reimbursed, in no longer than 5 days of receiving the receipt via email. The School will cover all travel expenses/costs accomodating me with Intercontinental Flights, Salary, Allowances and Housing.

This endeavor is important. It is an opportunity to demonstrate authentic HIP-HOP Culture in the Higher Educational Institutions to the youth and community of Dubai. Wherein cases around the world there is a misconception of the Culture. Primarily because of the music that is played on the Radio, Television and Internet continuously. Often leading people to believe that HIP-HOP is saturated with stories encouraging use of DRUGS, SEX & VIOLENCE. Thus blocking any opportunity for the youth of Dubai and UAE to learn that; the original and present message of the Hip-Hop is; Peace, Love, Unity and having Fun.

This agenda to corrupt Hip-Hop and associating the majority of its demographic and advocates, as potential criminals is not ethical in the least, a mentality that is programming Fear into the perception of those who could have possibly wanted to learn more. This not only puts both Hip-Hop Educators in a difficult position amidst higher educational representatives, but also creates a wall for Arabs that are seeking to learn another method to express their creative passions through the elements of Hip-Hop. Many would not notice but upon research one can see that Hip-Hop itself has had a profound impact on most Trends of Pop Culture (Movies, TV Shows, Fashion, Language & etc.) today and will continue to in the upcoming years.
