It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved cousin Josue Zurita(Cochito).
On Monday October 16, 2017, after about one week of battling the Harvey flood flesh eating bacteria, Josue was finally succumbed to Necrotizing Fascitis infection, while being treated at Jennie Sealy UTMB Hospital in Galveston. Josue was born September 1, 1986 in Oaxaca,Mexico.
A hard working carpenter, he was a 31 years old devoted Catholic, a loyal husband and a loving father. He moved to United States to help and support his family back in Mexico. He was living away from his 29 years old wife Gloria and his 11 years old daughter named Carolina to work hard and save money to support them.
Everybody remembers Josue for his smile and happy laughs. He was always smiling. He loved life and was loved by all his relatives and friends. One of his final wishes was to be buried in his beloved hometown of Miahuatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. For his hospital stay, medical and funeral expenses, this memorial fundraising at GoFundMe was setup by his cousin Brenda Anastacio Zurita. Thank you.

I received a plea from my lawn guy Anastacio and his wife Brenda:
“Hi, this Anastacio the lawn guy, my only brother here in usa passed away in galveston texas from (harvey flood flesh eating bacteria) I’m asking for your help please as funeral expenses are expensive my family and i are going through a hard time any donation will help me thank you so much god bless everyone …”.
Their cousin Josue Zurita (cochito) passed away from harvey flood flesh eating bacteria. For his Galveston hospital stay and now for his funeral, they have created a GoFundMe Memorial donation account under Josue Zurita (cochito) name.
I knew about an EMS Rescuer who contracted the flesh eating bacteria, but in the TV interview, he said since he could recognize the disease, he was able to combat it successfully.

FYI… I contributed $100, and figured out that from every $100 donation, $8.20 would go to GoFundMe site and the rest, $91.80 would be sent to the account holder.
Please look into your hearth and donate as much as you can.
Thanks for your compassion.
.05% of life today is for him and tomorrow for us we act a good action helping our beloved when he needs us since the costs are very high in advance thanks for your help God Bless .. from the ZURITA family, PEREZ
