Josie Jo

We welcomed Josie Jo into the world on Wednesday, November 22, at 6:23am after my water broke unexpectedly around 10:30 the night before. She came fast and furious, refusing to be slowed my meds or her mamas will! Of course, being about 2 months early, they had to whisk her off to the nicu right after she came out, but not before we got to hear her cry and see her beautiful eyes. The time since then has been a whirlwind, but she is making so many strides and is truly a determined, spunky little girl. We could not be more in love! We have so much to be thankful for, including the hundreds of people who have reached out with thoughts, prayer, support, and love. You all are absolutely amazing, and we feel so incredibly blessed!

Ian and I have had several people ask about how they can help us with Josie. Please, don't feel like you have to give, but know that we appreciate you all so much and we feel your love! This money would go towards Josie's health bill, especially towards anything that may not be covered by insurance but that could help her. Some may also be donated to the Ronald McDonald House that we are staying in, as they are housing and feeding us while Josie is getting strong! We will keep you all updated in the caring bridges site as far as where the money ends up going and if she needs anything else. We love you all so much, and we can't thank you enough!!
