The Gasper Family needs your help!

On August 2nd, at approximately 2200 hrs, Josh Gasper was critically injured in a motorcycle accident, while returning from a visit with his grandparents. The accident occurred west of Columbus, NE and preliminary info from the investigating sheriff’s deputy indicate the driver of a minivan struck Josh on his motorcycle nearly head-on. Since the accident, Josh was flown to the Creighton University Trauma Center at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE, where he remains in the ICU, with his family at his side. Josh has undergone several surgeries and received over 70 units of blood. He has sustained life threatening injuries: a torn aorta, fractured pelvis, fractured arm, fractured and removed spleen, fractured skull, tension pneumothorax, and possible fracture to his C-6 vertebrae. After initial stabilization efforts, Josh suffered a CVA (stroke) last night. To prevent future injury, doctors are performing a craniotomy, to ease swelling and pressure within his brain. This procedure is quite literally removing a piece of your skull.
