Jose F. Magana, husband of Virginia, father of Enrique, Maria, Rommel, Eleazar, Jenina, Romina, and Joanna, grandfather to Nicole, Joseph, Amanda, Cierra, Brianna, Chad, and Ryleigh, and great grandfather to Marisa, and Olivia, passed away after a long battle of illness on Dec. 4, 2016.
Jose was born in the Philippines and moved to the US in 1971, where he was a Computer Systems Analyst.
Jose was an active member of the Holy Family Church where he sang in the church choir, and regulalry lead prayer groups. He was also a member of the Philippine Community of Southern New Jersey where he served as President for one term. He was also President of the Filipino Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia.
As the Magana family has incurred a lot of expenses for Jose being in and out of the hospital, The Magana family is asking that in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to help Virginia defray the cost of his funeral.
