Breast reduction + recovery
Alright so here goes....
Ever since I was like nine years old I've had breasts, and always bigger than my classmates. When I was younger I was always ashamed of my body because I didn't look like everyone else, because I wasn't skinny and I didn't feel beautiful. I was always receiving unwelcome attention by guys and it was only until I was older that I realized why. In high school, my nicknames behind my back were ' FF ' or ' the girl with the big tits. ' I remember an ex of mine getting in a fight with a dude that made some off hand comment about the size of my breasts. Ive even had men twice my age make comments towards them, which doesn't actively bother me ( I'm used to it, and isn't that sad? ) It still shouldn't be happening. I've never had a positive experience having larger breasts, and could remember wanting a reduction for as long as I knew there was such a thing. Clothes have never fit me right. I'm 5'2. I could easily wear medium size clothes because my waist is pretty tiny, but because my boobs are not proportional, I can't. I have to wear a L or sometimes even an XL, but then I'm swimming in the shirt because of my waist size. Or it's skin tight and only makes my boobs look bigger, which causes more unwanted attention.
Now I am at a 34H in some sizes, a 34GG in others. This poses a problem to me in a medical sense. I do not remember the last time I was pain free. My back and neck/shoulders are constantly aching. My posture has suffered for it. I have been to a chiropractor, I have tried working out to make them smaller ( they only got bigger....what the hell ). Nothing seems to work for me. I would love to be able to improve my posture and be able to take a good breath without aching every time.
I just got approved that the surgery will be covered by insurance, but I still gotta pay my deductible, which is $300 and my max out of pocket is $550. The number is higher than that because of my financial obligations. My monthly obligations come to around $1000 a month. Based on the people I've talked to that have gotten this surgery, they said it's at least a month before I can even leave my house during recovery, and one of my jobs requires lifting chairs off tables, which I don't expect to happen until a couple of months after surgery.
I've wanted this for a long time for all those reasons. It would be a dream come true if I could make this work. I'm living paycheck to paycheck right now, otherwise I wouldn't be asking for help, so anything would be appreciated! Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart.
