I am raising money on behalf of my dear friend Jordan.
Me and Jordan both met on the teenage cancer ward which led us to be extremely good friends. We both went through chemotherapy together and were very supportive of one another. Jordan was diagnosed with testicular cancer of the brain- this is extremely rare as it's something to do with the hormone travelling to his brain creating the cancerous germ-cell brain tumor. Jordan has battled this disease fiercely and even fought for his life when he contracted sepsis. Jordan is only 23 years old and has just recently found out that his brain cancer is incurable. He has been told he has 1 and a half years to live unless he has a surgery which could kill him or leave him paralysed and unable to look after himself however this surgery will only further his life for another 4 years. Jordan has decided to go for the surgery but the outcome is unknown. I feel that Jordan deserves some happiness in his life so I asked him to let me do this for him, he is the most selfless, loving, caring boy I have ever met. Jordan is very family orientated and has a little sister named Freyja who is only 1 years old.. because he will be unable to watch her grow into a young woman Jordan would like to raise some money on behalf of his little sister so he has something to give her when she grows into an adult. I think the thought alone is completely selfless. Please help me show Jordan that there is some light in this cruel world.
