Jon Jon's Road To Recovery

On January 23, 2018, my son, Jon, was in a terrible accident at his daycare. A portable stage collapsed on him resulting in many bruises and worst of all a skull fracture. He has a traumatic brain injury due to the impact that cause a bit of his skull to go into his brain. They did surgery on him to repair his skull and remove as much debris as possible from his brain that night. He has been recovering pretty well so far, but we are unsure of any permanent damages at this time. We have appointments at Riley hospital every two weeks for the next 6 months at least. Also, he will have to have physical therapy and speech therapy during this time. Due to appointments being so far away from our home, roughly an hour and a half, it is a struggle for gas money and food while we are there, possibly even having to stay overnight if appointments end up being back to back days, we are hoping to raise some money to help ease the trips. Also, my husband has been trying to work as much as possible, but due to us having multiple kids, when we are not able to find a sitter for the others, he has to take time off of work. With that, paying things as simple as every day bills are becoming a struggle. We have not received any medical bills thus far as we have only been home for a week, but i am sure those will be rolling in at any time.
