Jonsie Brooke Duke's Support Fund

My name is Jacquie, Brooke is a friend and a co-worker, which is also family.  She came home from work last evening to find her home broken into and all of her possessions stolen.  Worst of all, her beloved white German Shepherd Marley, was shot and killed during the home invasion and discarded in her bathtub for her to find.

Brooke is a beautiful soul and her dog was her world.  She lives alone and her fur babies, Marley and Phil, are her everything.  Her babies were always by her side no matter what and have brought her immeasurable joy.

For those who do not know Brooke, she is a Registered Veterinary Technician at the animal hosptial where I work.  She has an overwhelming compassion and dedication to all of her fur patients and to their well being.  She also has an overwhelming compassion for humanity.  She pulls together donations for families in need and their pets and never expects anything in return except to know that she has provided happiness and a smile for others she doesn't even know.  Despite her own health issues, she puts others first.

See, Brooke was diagnosed with Lupus and has recently undergone surgery to fix faulty heart valves and treat an electrical issue within her heart.  So you can imagine the medical bills that have been mounting including expensive prescriptions, plus she is still paying off her school loans.  Despite all of this, Brooke has maintained a postive attitude about life, works hard and loves much. 

Please help Brooke try to restore some of what she has lost by donating to this page.  Due to the tragedy of Marley she obviously will not be returning to her home.  She needs all of the support she can get to help find a new home and fill it with love.  Even if you can not donate monetarily, prayers for Brooke are just as important and much appreciated.

Along with this Go Fund Me a page has been set up by Brooke, #JusticeForMarley, to find the people who did this unspeakable crime and bring them to justice.
