Jonathan and Joyce Lueken in S. Sudan

I, Jonathan, have been blessed to serve in South Sudan since March 2013. Joyce and I have worked together since January 2016 .
We are currently in the midst of transition between ministries here in the USA, but have a heart and longing to return to Africa. There is a definite long-term call for Joyce and I in South Sudan, but we are willing to go anywhere in Africa that God would lead us. We feel an urgency to be more fully trained and equipped to fully present the Gospel, which we realize more and more is the greatest need in East Africa (and everywhere).

Second,- Monthly support for the daily living and training expenses here in the USA as we wait to return to Africa. Whatever the Lord might put on your heart.
This page will temporarily be one of 3 options where ongoing (periodic or monthly) support can be sent to us, until we have finally become part of another non-profit sending ministry, as we are in the application process.

Your support is crucial at this time and we are so thankful for your prayers as we are in the middle of another great adventure and get to explore another path on God's Trail. As my chaplain from a past Disaster Relief Training always used to say,

We are asking for your prayers and support for those who would like to support us while we seek God's direction to another sending organization that will also provide needed training in the Gospel.
First, -Joyce and I hope to travel to South Sudan for needed visit to her family, who have never met Patience. Out travel window is July to August and there are MANY details that needs to fall into place. We need a passport and a travel vaccine for Patience, clothes/miscellaneous supplies for travel, various travel expenses while in Africa,and airfare. God's will be done.
