Join and Support Kim Runci's Battle

Our fighter, Kim Runci, is holding on with all she has as she continues to battle this awful disease.  She started her courageous battle May 12th, 2009.  She was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, only given 3 years to live.  She vowed to beat those odds given to her, and defeat it she did!  Almost 8 years of showing extraordinary strength, faith and a positive attitude every step of the way.  Through those steps, she showed not only herself, but others, how to live with situations beyond your control and find the positive along the way. Through her cancer journey, she continued to work, (a nurse) giving to others, displaying within herself what hope is.  Through our faith, we have witnessed this incredible gift from God, and it shines through her! Today, she has been hospitalized for over a month, needing much care to help her fight.  Even as she endures so much, her bright light (her gift) shines through to so many.  We feel the love and know so many are fighting right along side of her.  During this month, Kim has had multiple X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, EKGs, blood transfusions, and a GI procedure.  The added expenses that her health insurance does not cover is adding up.  Through her daily pain and struggles, she feels this heavy burden about the cost of her health care, something we do not want her to worry about anymore.  Our family is now reaching out for financial help and support to relieve this burden from her.  

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you.  He will not fail you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6
