If you know John Leyman--it is certain that you LOVE John Leyman!  This page has been created to show John and his family love and provide some support during his recuperation.

On February 17th while vacationing with his family in St. Lucia, John suffered a catastrophic fall which resulted in a very serious head injury. He and his wife Kelley spent several days stranded at a hospital in St. Lucia desperately trying to get back to the United States. Kelley spent those days jumping through hurdles to get John back home so he could get the medical care he needed. Early Monday morning, John returned to the the U.S. via an air ambulance and is currently being treated at a hospital in Philadelphia. As with any head injury, progress can be slow and must be taken day-by-day.

John's amazing wife and two adorable daughters have been through so much the last week. During this time, countless relatives, friends, and coworkers have asked how they can help. This page was created to provide some assistance with medical bills, hospital parking, groceries, and whatever John and the girls may need during John's recovery.

Anyone who has come in contact with John for more than five seconds knows that he is THE MOST generous man on the planet. He goes out of his way for every single person he comes in contact with. Now is the time to show John the love that he has ALWAYS shown each and every one of us.

Please support this fundraising effort and in the process share your favorite John Leyman moment on this page, or well wishes for John's recovery. Once John is well enough to read all these messages-- the hope is that all your kind words will lift him up!

Please share this page with all the John Leyman fans that reside all over the world!

(This page was created by a friend of John and Kelley's and 100 percent of the proceeds will be directed to the Leyman/Heck family).

I know many of you have asked about an update on John. Yesterday, John and Kelley spent much of the day with Penn's traumatic brain injury team at their concussion clinic. Per Kelley's update, they are doing excellent research on concussion therapy and recovery.

The excellent news is that John is recovering at a more rapid rate than most with his injuries. Extreme rest and limits from distractions is still what the doctor has ordered for the next few weeks. John will get a CT scan at the end of the month which will hopefully show a decrease in the temporal lobe swelling. All in all, things are moving in the right direction.

Your continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated by Kelley and the family.

Wanted to thank everyone again for the amazing and continued support of our campaign for John!

According to John's wife Kelley, he is recuperating at home and is showing very positive signs for his recovery. Today was a good day with less pain and fatigue. Hopeful that this positive trend will continue. In the next couple of weeks, doctors will re-evaluate his progress.

Thank you all again for your kindness. As mentioned previously, these funds are being used to assist with John's in-home nursing care. John is unaware of this fund and your support, but when he's we'll enough, I'm sure he will be overwhelmed by your generosity and love (and extremely annoyed at me for doing it).

Again, please feel free to use the notes section on this page if you'd like to send a message to John or his family.

I would first like to thank everyone for their care and concern for John and his family. The outpouring of love over the last 24 hours has been nothing short of amazing and is truly a testament to what an amazing man John is!

Thank you to those that have contributed, who have spread the word, and have reached out to assist. I know Kelley is SO appreciative. Once John is better and made aware of what you've all done for him, I know he will be in awe and humbled by your actions.

I'd like to provide you all with an update on John's progress to date. John was released from the hospital and has spent an entire day home with his family. His vital signs have been stable over the past few days and doctors felt that his recuperation was best to occur in the home. I'm sure that hugs and kisses from the girls will be better than any medicine he can receive!

In order for John's head injury to heal properly, it requires that he spend his time resting without music, tv, talking, or anything that stimulates the mind. John is experiencing a great deal of pain and fatigue which is to be expected at this point in time and his doctors say that this is all part of the healing process. They are working on a pain management plan and the hope is over time these issues will subside.

Over the past 24 hours, Kelley has set-up a schedule with a home health care company, so that an aide can come and assist her for a few hours a day. This extra set of hands will be extremely helpful as Kelley juggles the demands of taking care of the girls and providing John with the assistance he needs to improve and get better.

I should note, the funds from this Go Fund Me campaign will be used to assist with the out-of-pocket costs that the Leymans will experience over the next few months in providing care for John's recovery.

I know that many of you would like to let John know that you're thinking of him thru calls and emails, etc.; however, right now rest is what the doctor has ordered. That being said, please feel free to post a message for John on this website so that once John is able to -- he can receive your messages. Feel free to utilize the notes section of this page to wish John well, or share a memory that will bring a smile to John's face.

Again, thank you all for what you've done so far. Please continue to share this page, to check-in for updates, and keep John, Kelley and the kids in your thoughts.

Again, thank you-- thank you--thank you for your generosity and your assistance! This outpouring of support truly shows what an amazing community of family, friends, and co-workers the Leymans have.
