John.d had all his stuff robbed

£1,400 of £1,000 goal

Whilst John.d was visiting family over the weekend, burglars broken into his house and robbed all of his stuff. Stuff robbed includes:

- His dream gaming PC, which he'd assembled himself
- His Vitus single speed bike that was not expensive but pretty tricked out and had sentimental value, as well as being how he got to work
- His jacket collection , which was filled with priceless, unique pieces

It's pretty sad. Replacing the jacket collection is impossible, but being able to replace his PC at least would give him something to do in the evenings other than stare into the void. A replacement bike would be great but probably isn't the highest priority.

If you know John and can afford to kick a couple of pounds his way it would be a great way of doing something to counteract the forces in this world that have resulted in him getting all his stuff robbed.

It's been some time since the great Marie kondo event and I thought I'd take this chance to thank everyone again.

Getting all your stuff robbed sucks, it really does, you should all get insurance for that is which is replaceable and enjoy the items which are not.

The support from friends and family, people I've known my whole life, people I've met once or twice; those I've only spoken too through the web has been moving in a way I can't really comprehend. The kindness and compassion shown from all those I've met has been eye opening and I can't thank you enough.

The money raised has not been used to replace that which was stolen, but instead saved for when I do move somewhere more appropriate to help get things rolling again.

But I can't say it enough, for me the biggest gift has been all your kind words and support.

This weekend we had the "jacket memorial ride" with Riaz who launched this campaign, someone who I consider a great friend and one of the nicest people I know, along with a new friend Naomi. Their good company and help together made it a fantastic weekend to remember. We toured Norfolk from Kings Lynne to Sherringham over two days, this was not only a great way to move forward but a personal achievement for me to do such a physical feat with my many ailments.

I've Uploaded some pictures of this ride for all to see.

While I would hope none of you ever experience anything like this, I hope you receive the warmth and support I did if it does happen; I hope I can help be part of that.
