John Williams Bench

Writing a memorable memorial dedication for someone’s memorial headstone or plaque can be very difficult. Proving especially challenging in this situation, as the individual the bench is dedicated to has not yet deceased.

My vision is to bring together John’s friends, family and random people from across the world, with one common goal in mind: to install a bench somewhere in the Brighton area in tribute to John Williams and his contributions to society. 

I believe this bench would ultimately become a great asset for the general public to sit quietly and contemplate their day! Perhaps, we could get Katie Price to unveil it, and maybe have a few of John’s sayings carved into it, a bunch of Johnisms and words of wisdom. Any ideas/examples of what Johnisms to carve would be greatly appreciated.

With regards to the most appropriate location of the bench, I’d like some suggestions. Initial thoughts are; Rose Gardens Preston Park, Lidl carpark Whitehawk, Hove Greyhound stadium or directly outside Albion kebab, Queens road.
