John Pukala Aid for justice

This is a fundraiser to help John Pukala. John is a loyal and committed husband, father, educator, coach, leader, and mentor. He has selflessly served and stayed committed to his community (Florissant/Hazelwood) and HighSchool (Hazelwood Central) for over 28 years, even when proposed opportunities of greener pastures presented themselves. Today he finds himself as a potential victim of a governing body who is abusing their power. Unfortunately we are all too familiar these days with governing bodies abusing power. He is fighting for his future after doing the right thing.  Doing the right thing is what we all hope that people will do, as well as the people responsible for teaching our kids.  John has been removed from his current job and offered a significant demotion which has a life altering consequence to his retirement.

John has had a profound positive impact on thousands of students in his 28 plus years at Hazelwood Central. He has invested countless hours into every student he touched while sacrificing hours away from his family. He has been another father figure for many students throughout his career helping kids navigate successfully into young adults. All of these awesome characteristics are rare these days. He now needs our help. This is an opportunity for us to give back although he would never ask for it. I have my own story about Coach Pukala as I know thousands of other students have theirs. They are all more than positive and that is reflected in the showing of support to the recent unfortunate events. Please join me in raising money for Coach P's battle. Let's help get Coach another victory. Let's help other educators in the Hazelwood School District stand up to an administration sending the wrong message to their staff and their students.
