John Dizek's Funeral Expenses

I regretfully write to inform you that at the time of my writing this, our friend John Dizek's departure from this earth is imminent.  First, let me thank everyone from the bottom of all of our hearts for the donations made towards his cancer treatments.  These heartfelt donations were certainly not in vain and helped to extend not only John's time with us, but maximized the quality of that time as much as was possible.  I speak for all who know John when I extend my deepest gratitude.  It is with great sadness and trepidation that I appeal to you once again for your help. 

John needs you one last time.  His family would like to host a viewing and funeral service for him, but with the rising costs of funerals, as well as his having spent down his assets on treatments, there are not enough funds available to do this.  Between governmental help, social security and some donations already made by close friends, they have enough to take care of John's wishes to be cremated.  However, John was a very special person and I believe nobody would disagree that he deserves a memorial service, however humble, to celebrate his life and allow everyone a chance to pay their respects.  With your help, we can do this together.
