Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan “Joe” Washington have been long-time residents in the Beauregard community of Lee County, AL. Joe has spent many years being self-employed as the business owner of “Joe Washington Construction” before retiring due to cancer. His wife, Gwen “Elaine”, worked over 40 years with the Lee County School System.
On Sunday, March 3, 2019, their home and vehicles were devastated by the EF-4 tornado that swept through Lee County, AL, being located in the “Ground Zero” area of the tornado’s path. They were able to escape their home after it was torn off its foundation and blown into the middle of the street. All of their possessions inside the home have been lost.
This Go Fund Me will help assist the Washingtons during their time of recovery for financial expenses to help rebuild their lives. Everything donated will be gratefully appreciated!
